Good morning all,

Happy Saturday! I stayed on track yesterday with lots of protein, and kept positive thoughts rolling. Thank you all for your support. Weigh in day tomorrow!

Have a great day today everyone!

Dr Ponce de Leon Mexico     VSG 4 Jun 12. I lost 57 lbs on my own before having a VSG. This is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself.

124.2 today. Good eating day yesterday but mostly because I had to fast for 6 hours before my ultrasound test. I snacked on half of my lunch on the way home and still ate a good dinner.

Since the ultrasound was done at the end of the day, I won't hear anything until Monday. Still pretty sure it is gallbladder. Thankfully no more symptoms.

Bitter cold here again and the temps will keep dropping through tomorrow in the negatives. Did I mention how much I hate winter? Dreaming of our retirement in Hawaii!

Have an on-plan Saturday everyone!

Paula

Good Morning! I made it through day yesterday and will repeat the process today:) It felt good to get through the day!  The elliptical is in my plan while watching Netflix!  Laundry.  Puttering around the house. Lesson Plans. Staying on my food plan. Moving my body.  Grocery Shopping.  Food Prep.

Tomorrow, after church, we're going to Fort Worth to see Motown, The Musical.  I'm looking forward to that.  Monday, Andy and I are both off.  It will be nice to have  day together!

No hair pics today...it was just a trim anyway.  No make-up...I'll take one after I'm ready for church:)

Happy Saturday!  Have a great day!!!

Wonderful news! I'm glad you had a successful day and feel good about it!

It's really just about stringing more days like yesterday together. The more you do it, the easier it gets.

Have fun at the theater. How long does it take you to get to Ft. Worth? At least a couple of hours, right?

On a Sunday morning, about 90 minutes without traffic:) I'm looking forward to it.  Lunch will be a pick what you want salad bar and dinner some kind of fish with a veggie.  My hubby is known as the "food boss".  He usually researches restaurants so I ( our friends, too) can have a plan and we can make an informed decision.

Good morning, everyone!  Lots of early posts for a Saturday.  I feel the collective on-plan mojo!

I am happy to feed into the group mojo because I have a work party to go to tonight.  I haven't attended this shin-dig in years because, well, I was isolating myself because of my size.  As I sit here in my safe, cozy, quiet house with cup of joe and Buster the dog,  I wonder if I am overconfident in my ability to just enjoy the evening and stay on plan with food. I guess this is good practice.  I have decided not to eat just before I go although I also won't skip any meals today to save up calories.

Lorna, I hope the scale-god is with you tomorrow morning.  Paula, I hope your gallbladder stays quiet.  Stephanie!  Look at you!  You are doing great! What a difference a day can make!  Carbon, garage sales in Jan?  Are these indoor garages?  Even so, brrrrr.

Snow in the mountains today which on the surface sounds good for XCross country skiing but I don't want to get caught on bad roads or road closure for avalanche control.  So, yoga instead this morning.  I'll do my home version of Yin yoga after the party.

124.6 this morning.  Diane in California will appreciate that my day couldn't officially start until I ran to the store for 1/2 and 1/2.

Have a great day!  Shel
