Greetings fellow maintainers. I am so impressed with all of your exercise and tracking of calories, protein and carbs.  I tracked all this until sometime in year 4 and then stopped.  It seemed if I observed certain habits that it all fell into  place.  But its wise to do this at least in the beginning of maintenance.  I should probably start it again since Ive put a few pounds back on since i stopped tracking. Always can learn something from this group.

Down a half today which is a good thing.

Yep, gotta love costco. It amazes me that we can shop there as they sell stuff in such huge quantities. Still there are no calories in toilet paper (I think) and I used to get their beef jerky. We get their Greek yogurt and hubby consumes lots of berries and we like the ready to eat shrimp. Still works for our household of two who are both sleevers. Hubby also loves their peanuts (me too) but he eats far to many of them.  Have to go there to get some meds monday so I will probably cruise around looking for interesting healthy stuff.

The rain has let up so might be a good day for a dog walk.  Dog Chip has a date to make puppies sometime this week.  Must feed him some oysters.

Diane, I love seeing how the VSG lifestyle has evolved for you!

I have a new find from Costco: frozen quinoa and kale.  I haven't actually tried it yet, tho. It is part of my adding back healthy carbs program.  Inside the package are smaller microwavable pouches that contain 2 regular sized portions.  I figure one pouch would last me 4-7 days.  The ingredient list was short which appealed to me.  While I generally don't like microwaving plastic (I have some unscientific concerns about heated plastic,) I like that I don't have to think about food prep which is a bit of a trigger for me.

Scale same today as yesterday. Nice.... Calories a little over yesterday (target was 1224 - hit 1307), but exercise was done ( 2.6 miles on the elliptical). I decided to push resistance up to a level 12 on the higher level incline intervals. Highest resistance I've used so far. Got me panting, but the legs didn't mind a bit!

Officially that's down 5.5 for the week. That's good IMO.

Miralax, THANK YOU! ('nuf said? LOL)

Oh, I was so sure I was going to win the PowerBall last night. I don't know what happened!

I can't believe the powerball didn't go I still wish I would have had a ticket though. I might need to research how Candians get one.

Great on the Miralax success!
