No scale today for me. I'm going to try and stay the course until next Saturday and weigh in once a week. I will continue to log food and exercise.

I had good 5+km run yesterday. Today is a rest day for me so I will do some yoga at home just keep my muscles stretched today. I have a great 30 min session I downloaded from MFP in the spring.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

Morning all

Scale not moving. Calories 1138.  Walking 10,443 steps.

Is it just me or is this site slow to load?

Good for all of us with moooooooooooving the bodies, weather permitting of course, unless you have an inside option.

Enjoy Sunday

It looks like your steps and calories are in line.  Stupid scale for not noticing.

The site is normal for me this morning which means that it isn't fast.

Paula, sometimes I feel I am following you around.  My first weight this morning was 125.8 but I had my feet on weird when it snapped the weight so I got on again.  The second time it was 125.3.

I was ALSO at Costco yesterday but passed on their good looking seafood (I wanted the poke) because I need to slow down on spending money and I got tons of food available in the freezer at home.

Also, agree that being able to participate in activities is immensely pleasurable.  Yesterday the family couldn't go skiing so I went by myself.  A bit more meditative, almost self healing.

Slow flow yoga on tap for this morning.  Might get a walk in when my daughter is at tutoring.  Or, I might just sit there drinking coffee.  I know what I would prefer to do :)

Oh, so close to that coveted 125!

I don't think our Costco has poke - many Wisconsinites are not very adventurous when is comes to food. Most won't even try sushi which is odd because cannibal sandwiches (raw hamburger mixed with onions) is popular around here!

Raw hamburger and onions does NOT sound midwestern to my Iowa brain!  Poke is pretty popular in these parts, some grocery stores carry it on a regular basis.  One actually has a poke bar next to the salad bar.  It has been a staple this last year.

Okay I think my Canadian-ness is in play - had no idea there was something called poke. Had to look it up (sliced raw fish?) but still not sure I get it in terms of a 'product'. Or is that the 'salad'? What makes it a salad?  Inquiring minds want to know :-)

Poke is a raw fish "salad" much like tuna "salad" or crab "salad" are considered salads. The raw fish (often tuna) is cut in small bite sized pieces and seasoned with things like garlic, peppers, tomatoes, chiles, onions, sesame oil, sesame seeds etc. It is very popular in Hawaii which is where I have had it before and is a variation of Japanese shashimi. It's good!

Morning fellow skinny sleevers.  Scale is down one to 117 this morning. My food choices were pretty solid. I haven't been religiously tracking in mfp this week, not completely sure what the mental block is.

Virtually all my excess calories are consumed in the evening so if I don't eat after 8 pm I'm usually golden.  And I did manage to successfully maintain for an entire year without tracking in mfp so for the most part I do know what to do.

But with that said, I still haven't reconfirmed my maintenance calorie level so would like to do that when I'm firmly back down below goal. Before Christmas I had started taking the calories up while I was tracking, but got off course with calories and tracking over the holidays.

Still a bit uncomfortable psychologically with being back in weight loss mode, but quite simply, it really is all in my head.  I swear so much of the **** we put ourselves through is stuff we make up.
