There should be a dislike button. My Dr said exercise heats up your intestines which is what causes the problem any exercise. Not sure if she correct but it makes sense because I couldn't even go for walk around the block at the height of my last episode I've had IBS since I was my early 20s. It is hard to figure out what works because one time it is one thing and then that changes
I've heard lots of theories about the exercise induced thing too - the bouncing step, irregular, shallow breathing, the moving horizon, etc. all I know is when I start experiencing the problem, it comes on more quickly each time I run. Used to get it after 10 mins. Started taking Immodium pre run and even that didn't always work. And if it did it exacerbated my constipation, of course, so there is no solution that I know of. Exercise or no exercise, IBS is super difficult to effectively manage!

Miralax was a game changer for me during initial weight loss for me too. My "****tail" eventually lost some of it's magic and I eventually estoppel everything altogether. I started back on the softener a few months ago, but it's just not enough. I have no discomfort either, except a very slight pressure sometimes. It's when I finally go, like today, it's painful! That's truly what I would like to fix!
It is comical that only those of us who get it REALLY get it!
Yeah it's funny how things change. The 'solutions'are never more than temporary and always multifaceted.
