127.6, downward trend. Calories and carbs in check yesterday. Tried out my new boot camp DVD (sore today!) and did yoga. Overall an on point day! Still feeling a little hungry though!

Called around about getting a DEXA scan for body composition analysis. I think around here they primarily use the DEXA for bone density testing. Not even sure if they could read it correctly for body composition and the cost was almost $400 so I called the University and scheduled a Bod Pod test which I will have next Tuesday.

No solid plans for the weekend. Will go out to eat somewhere tonight - our usual for Friday.

Happy Friday my friends!

Paula

Good Morning-

I picked up the actual DXA scan results from my December physical with my PCP, and it was just bone density. :(  I, too, would very much like data on my body composition as I establish my target range and as a baseline as I begin to focus on building muscle.  I left a request for a referral from my PCP, when I went for updated cholesterol blood work at 7 AM.  My numbers were really bad at 3 months out, and she wanted to look at them again now before looking at medication.

The pool where I have been doing my lap swimming is still closed, due to filter issues.  The weather for the weekend looks dismal (so no outdoor walking) , so I am going to schedule a visit at a YMCA on Saturday, and a fitness center on Sunday, to try out their pools and see what they can provide.  I also plan to steam clean carpets... that will be a work out too !

Down to 143.4.  Still sticking with the plan, until I hit my bottom red line at 135.  Shifting into maintenance just under my top red line, the week before Christmas, was not a great choice !  LOL !  Live and learn !!

     Have a great day !!

Good morning!

Scale was the same this morning, but yesterday was a good day with food and lots of fluids, so it will come off.

Not much to say today.  We have some loose plans for the weekend - friends possibly coming for cards tonight, my dayghter's track meet in the morning, and, if we can get someone to watch the younger one for a couple of hours, a birthday lunch with friends tomorrow.  The weather is a bit gloomy, and will be through the weekend.  Oh well, it's January in Maine.  Off to a 1/2 day monthly meeting that is usually very boring!

Have a great day all!

Morning everyone.

a good calorie day but over by 120 for 1187 and walking was 7999 steps in spite of the snow.

Fitbit says that since sept 2015 have walked 563 km or 350 miles.  And hopefully when the better weather comes that will increase.  Weatherman says rain all next week so that is encouraging.  I understand rain, just don't get snow.

we all seem to be hanging tight.  Have a great weekend.

Good morning everyone,

Great downward movement for the two early birds this morning!  Way to Go!!!! Paula glad you enjoyed your DVD and Ocean you will certainly get a workout cleaning carpets!!

Upward trend today +.6 (152.3). Still no BM (6 days). Today I will not let the scale get to my head.  I will continue to weight tomorrow and Sunday morning and then every Sunday after that. I am fully aware of what getting on the scale does to me, but I still need to be accountable so I will find a happy medium.

Boot Camp again at lunch today; and I am super excited about it; Imagine that! I have actually recruited 2 other people from work to join me. It will be great!!!!

Have a fabulous day everyone - Take Care and happy Weekend!!!

Paula, Excited for the bodpod!

Glad you passed on the dexa considering the cir****tances.  I am sure the machine is capable but they may not have the correct software (everything costs money!)  Also, you want someone to review results with you that can provide context for the results.  The bodpod will fit your needs.

Scale 125 which is up a pound from yesterday.  That just doesn't bother me.  I did have hot and sour soup yesterday which is a (delicious) salt delivery system.

A new challenge is that I will be eating lunch on Fridays for my team's (all 2 of us) weekly huddle.  I think this is excellent practice for real life.  She is good to go with because she was found to be severely diabetic a year ago and finally started to address the issue in the last few months.  (Medical professionals generally make bad patients, by the way.)

I adjusted MFP to allow 900 calories before it shows me as over.  I am pretty sure that whatever weight gain I would get by coming out of ketosis has already happened.  I am fine with floating my weight down a few more pounds. In this last month I lost 8.5lbs and I definitely don't want to match that, even if I could.

Yoga later today.  Did a Hatha class last night that really highlighted my upper body issues.  As my new trainer says, "I see opportunity."  Can't wait to get started.

Have a great day all!

Shel

Scale the same today. Totally fine with that. (I' down 5 this week, so I can't expect too much more, now can I?)

Food as been in line - calories, carbs, etc... Protein was somewhat low yesterday - just over 80 grams. (I like being at least 100.)

Not much else going on. Will have a training session today, have dogs to groom this weekend.... just keeping keeping on!

Morning all from cold and snowy Calgary. Coldest morning so far this winter currently at -22C.  Fresh snow too, so asked hubby to take a photo for me to attach this morning to remind those of you living in warmer climes just what you're missing :-). Two here because hubby liked my pee yellow sweater so much against the snow that he talked me into slipping my coat off for a moment.

Missed the scale this morning. Didn't have a comfortable night after indulging in several handfuls of popcorn, which never sits well with me. At work for a few hours and then off to dream about riding - attending the annual motorcycle show!  It keeps me going through January!!

Lightened the photos up so you can see the pee yellow sweater better

You're looking AWESOME as always! I love the sweater.

You know, my hands are like ice and it's about 45 degrees here. I can only imagine what my hands and feet would be like in your icy clime! ACK!

Just so you know, I was thinking about you yesterday because you and I seem to have the same poop issues! I looked in the pot afterwards and thought to myself, "All that work for those few kernels! Bleh...." I need to start up with the Miralax again, but I've been avoiding it.
