Shel,

Made me smile that you picked up the Gladiator!

Scale the same as yesterday.

Reset day - oh joy! Luckily, a busy day ahead.

8 mile bike ride yesterday. Happily, I was out of ear shot when Ron was damning me for planning an uphill grade on the way out. The difference in our fitness levels is really apparent when we ride together. This is a switch since he was always the trim and fit one in our duo. Have to take the bike into the shop today. Not sure what happened, but I completely lost my rear brakes about 3 miles out. Had to use the front brake, which I don't like so much, for the rest of the ride.

Saw Cavalia Oddeseo last night. I loved every moment of the show. The beauty of the human horse relationship moved me and stirred up deep emotion. I ended up with a few tears running down my cheeks by the end of the opening. There was also a "ballet" of six horses led by one woman and that got to me, as well. The level of trust and mutual admiration between human and horses was profound. Again, tears.

Damn, sound like a wimp! But I am who I am, right?

Good morning everyone,

Happy I made my way back. I know I need this space, it's with people that understand our World/anatomy! ?

It's clean out day in the fridge, for the fresh and healthy foods that will be consumed. I need to get a new water bottle to to keep the daily totals up!

Have to run a few errands today so will park further away from the entrance. Going to buy some new workout gear! I'm going to take the plunge and join the local YMCA here. I don't need to worry what others think. I'm there for ME!!!

Have a great day!

Hugs

Hello Everyone! Scale is at 118 so I'm exactly at my red line number as I reset today. I will focus on getting a lot more fluids in today - herbal tea to make things a bit more interesting than water - and eating all the protein I want. I'm feeling a little frightened but also somewhat relieved at moving back into weight loss mode.

Kairk I found your post from yesterday very helpful. Again I am faced with my humanness.  Yes there are parts of my thinking, emotions and physicality that are disordered, but certainly not all of me.  Sometimes it's difficult to sort out what's what and maybe it doesn't matter all that much anyway. In the end, I set out to do my best each day and my results vary.  Maybe that's what humanness looks like.

I wish you all an easy day, particularly for those of you who are in the process of resetting to find a place of peace with food again.  We've all been there before and we can have it again.  Yes the first few days are difficult, but peace comes soon after that.

Well I am still in denial that it is 2016 and that i am at 129.  More ham and beans yesterday with football watching though we did get a dog walk in. Gonna be a rainy week and unlike carbon, i am a wimp and won't take walks in the rain. Of course, there is a treadmill 10 feet away from me with its own tv and tivo set up. No excuses here.

Yeah the Oregon -TCU game was a great one. We started out rooting for the Ducks but then started to feel sorry for TCU and were glad they made the comeback.

I have resolved I must clean up my mess of papers and art debris here at home.  First step is to get some good quality file cabinets since I have some cheap ones now that are hard to use. I can't believe the amount of paper that builds up. Fortunately we have easy recycling here.

K, good luck on the sugar detox.  I need to detox from laying on the sofa.    diane

doing a re-set day over here as well.  Started off very well and then came home only to remember that sometime ago I had agreed to make two pies for tomorrow.

Made pumpkin pies as they are the easiest but too much tasting.

Back to guzzling water.

Still no walking. Still too icy.

Dang.
