Dr Ponce de Leon Mexico VSG 4 Jun 12. I lost 57 lbs on my own before having a VSG. This is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself.

How the heck did it get to be 2016? I will turn 65 later this year and get on medicare. Never thought I would get so old. never thought I would get so thin! (even though i am at 129 which is high) I see a thin person in the mirror everyday even though lurking beneath my size small clothes is a lot of loose skin.
Spent yesterday watching bowl games with a friend and hubby. Rose bowl was a huge disappointment. Poor Iowa couldn't get it together. Ate black eyed peas. One more bowl game and black eyed peas meal today and then time to cut back on carbs.
Ocean diane congrats on your successful year. You are right to dive in head on into maintenance with a plan instead of just letting stuff happen. you will do well.
Think i will take our old dog for a short walk and myself for a longer one. diane

Diane, I am a University of Iowa grad living in Washington state. I made my family wear Iowa gear yesterday. I could not believe how painful that game was!

Hi Hawkeye! I went to Grinnell College just down the road from Iowa City so we used to go there sometimes. Now we are in California and I like stanford because they are brainy so I would have been happy to see either team win. But I hate seeing Iowa pummeled. I am also a grad school alum of Nebraska and they got beat up by Iowa and lots of others. Will watch the Ducks today then football is done. Go Big Red. diane

I grew up in Southwest Iowa around a lot of Husker fans! When I lived there, the Huskers never lost. It still feels wrong that they and Iowa are in the same conference.
Poor Ducks. I feel sorry for that back up quarterback.

Hello to all the ones that remember me :) .. and the newbies!!
Getting back on the bull!!!!!!! I have been totally eating unhealthy since vacation in October. This month our local YMCA is promoting a no joining fee! So, $75. savings. It's time to go to the gym too!!! I need a healthy me back!! :D
