Sunday, Dec 27, a cosmic day!
Good morning, mates!
Let's just get to it! Scale is 125 today which is my (current) official goal weight! I'll do a separate post on that because it is that exciting!
Also exciting is that in the first time in 10-15 years, I am going cross country skiing with the family! Being able to do this type of physical activity with the people I love is so deeply satisfying!
I am spreading my blanket of contentment over all of you, can you feel it? Have a terrific day!
Shel

I am moving down toward my new goal. Between my old and new red lines, so looking forward to being under 145.
Enjoy the day all !

Way to go Shel! Have fun skiing. Sounds like we are all doing pretty well.
128.5 today. need to drop a couple. The good news is I have no regrets about christmas food.ate a few things I shouldn't have but nothing overboard. The most important thing is that I am not mourning over the things I passed up. I am over it.
And our Nebraska Cornhuskers (we are alums and from the midwest) won their bowl game. The Foster Farms Bowl which we kept calling the chicken fingers bowl because we couldn't remember the name. For us it should be the skinless boneless low fat grilled chicken bowl.
New battery in the fit bit so no excuse not to move. steps still count even if not tracked. diane
Shel - way to go!!! Congratulations! I'm sorry to admit that I looked at your ticker for the first time today. You have lost soooooooo much weight! I was a light weight (lost 108) and am so much in awe of those who have lost as much as you have. the work and dedication it takes to do that is mind boggling!
I'm down 1.3 today. Maybe it won't take the entire week to get back to my pre Christmas weight. LOL!
I have been talking with Ron about joining me on the sugar free/low sugar food plan. He is having a lot of sugar these days in liquid form - hot chocolate, apple cider. The other day for breakfast he had hot chocolate followed by hot, spiced apple juice and a danish (or maybe it was french toast - not quite sure). He also eats a lot of carbs and is beginning to feel the effects of a high carb diet. Since I've been having some sweets over the holidays I was planning on doing a two to four week sugar reset once our holiday obligations are over on Saturday (we have 3 more dinners to attend this week...ugh....) He thinks it would be good idea except he just bought hot chocolate powder - 2 whole cans! (Can you hear an excuse in that?) It will sure be interesting to see how this plays out.
Now for the BEST NEWS: I bought myself a wonderful Day After Christmas present! I got myself a Trek 7.2 FX Hybrid bike! I'm so excited to add biking to my exercise routine! Ron loves biking and I had his bike completely rebuilt for Christmas. I'm hoping this becomes an activity that we can enjoy together. I'm thinking I better contact Jubjub for some pointers!
Meeting a WLS friend for coffee in a few minutes. Will be nice to catch up. It's been a while.
Hope you all had a good Sunday and are enjoying a nice Sunday evening.
BTW-I swear it's going to snow here. It's cold, cold, cold for this area (was in the 20s last night) and it's getting quite cloudy. We'll see....
