LBD and sagging skin - problems of the formerly morbidly obese!

My LBD fits perfectly but my sagging skin is sooooooo discouraging. I won't even consider plastics for another year but if things don't firm up (and I kinda doubt they will) I'll be looking at more surgery. Here's some pics - the good, the bad and the ugly! My thighs and butt are actually my most troublesome areas but no pics of them! http://www.obesityhelp.com/members/paula1965/photos/album/20 0581/

I decided to link them instead of upload here - the pics are huge and the quality isn't so good (phone pics)

There is a LOT of good in those pics!!!!!  Honestly, you look terrific!

It is a lot to think about, isn't it?  I my skin is worse than yours but that would make sense considering I started bigger.  My thighs and butt are easily the worst.

My bariatric surgeon said that when I make goal that I can go ahead and ask for a referral to see plastics.  I thought I read somewhere that you MUST wait one year and she said no.  So, I'll probably check them out in the first half of the year. While part of the stomach area might be covered by insurance, I really can't afford to have everything else done.  I may end up in Mexico for butt and thighs if I can get the nerve (and finances) up.

Hi Paula.  I think you look terrific, and the sagging isn't too bad!

A little sagging skin - to be worn with pride! Those droops and bits of sag tell you from where you've come. Your arms look fantastic and once you're in your LBD you look svelte and firm! (LBS btw, took me until I saw the pic of you in it to figure out what the hell LBD meant! There seems to be an acronym for everything these days!)

And let's face it, there is a reason that we don't see bikini models over 40. Everyone, even the skinny Minnies, get a little sag with age and gravity. So, unless you're planning to sport a bikini anytime soon, don't worry about it. You look absolutely fantastic!
