Good Morning-

I wanted to redeem myself by spelling both the day of the week and the month correctly on the subject line !  LOL !  I am inching my way back down again. (Low of 146.8 to 149.2 yesterday.) 149 today.  I'm keeping my calorie goal at 1000 through Christmas day, so it is slower than when I was at 750.  I do want to get down to 140, so that I have my full range in effect. I refuse to move my red line number from 150, so I'm operating in a narrow band right now. I'll shift back down to 750-800 the 26th, until I get closer to that bottom end.  I realized that I haven't been at a "normal" BMI since 2nd grade.  Never... not one day.  I am 60.  I am working on intuitive eating and making peace with food choices but I absolutely refuse to cross that line ever again.

I want to live vicariously through all of you who aren't in schools this week !

125.6 today, up another .2 - trying to keep calories around 1,200 now but if I keep going up by .2 daily will have to re-look.

I have off work today since I worked the weekend. Have a few more Christmas gifts to pick up and wrap and have a boy scout meeting tonight (I'm a leader in our Troop).

Rainy wet day today, so odd for Wisconsin in December. I don't think we will have a white Christmas this year. I'm not really complaining though, I have cold and snow. Retirement keeps calling my name but the 3 boys still living at home will have us here and working for a bit more. I know our time with them is short and I shouldn't wish any of it away!

Morning everyone.

scale is up and it deserves to be.  Last evening was a binge.  Not sweets, but just plain too much.  Upon reflection, had gone carolling and it was bitterly cold.  The group that had a ride with went to a fast food place afterwards and the hamburger (first of the year ) while small was loaded.  I had not realized that you could get burgers without the cheese, bacon etc.  Had half, came home, ate the other half, a mouthful of pasta and it all went downhill from there.   As you can gather fast food burger nuances are not part of my pattern and was flummoxed by the variety.  Lousy excuse.

virtually no exercise.

Visitors left yesterday and the third lot arrive this afternoon.

thank goodness for New beginnings each and every day.

enjoy your new week.

Holding steady at 114. I'm not enjoying all the trigger food exposure and I'm glad it will soon be over. I'm literally counting down the days!!

I'm not working today so going to use the day to do some holiday meal grocery shopping and to make sense of my dressing room. Yes, I have a full on dressing room :-). And yes it's jam packed full of clothes that FIT!

Havea great day!

Oooooooo, a dressing room. I'm intrigued. I have walk-in closet that I share with my husband but a dressing room just for me an my clothes sounds wonderful!

Yes it's really wonderful :-). It came to fruition after we moved into this 1912 character home that had very small closets. My conditional move in was that hubby would create a proper dressing room for me and he kept his promise. I truly love it and still get a little thrill when I go in there!

I've always been into fashion, even when I was heavy. Clothing and accessories are my major expression of creativity!  I love putting outfits together in new and interesting ways!

Woke up feeling blue today. Not sure why, I'm not one to get the holiday blues. I, frankly, love the Christmas season. I didn't sleep well. I did have a dream about eating baked goods. I don't remember much about the dream other than briefly awakening thinking, "This is not good, dreaming about food..." I felt like the pies, and baklava, and cookies, and.... had my subconscious by the b*&lls, (excuse the crudeness of the comment, but I think you know what I mean!)

Scale down a whole .1 today. Yipeee he says with sarcasm aplenty! Spot on food day yesterday, too.

Lots to do today and feeling absolutely unmotivated. Have to get myself in gear and get with it!

Hi all, not much going on here. rainy and gloomy.  banking errands to run for studio and galleries.  128 so not much going on in the scale department. really would like to get back to 125 but am gonna have to really work at it. guess i am getting pretty complacent about this stuff and need to  remember Frisco's commitment advice.

Kairk, I have food dreams where I eat stuff I shouldn't and wake up and think Yay, i didn't really eat that whipped cream.   Seems harmless. Plus I don't have any desire to go looking for whipped cream.  diane

Hello All!

Back to work this week where it is easier to stay on plan all day.

No movement on scale.  I am just like an impatient kid waiting for Santa to come.   I am hopelessly optimistic every morning even tho I repeatedly tell myself that reaching 125 lbs it isn't that big of a deal in reality.

I scheduled one of those body composition dexa scans for Jan 13th!  Surely, I will be at goal by then!  Or, close enough for purposes of the dexa scan.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a scale that measures in 10ths?  Mine is apparently vintage since it only goes down to 1/2 lb increments.  I'm not sure I want to think about my weight in terms of 10ths.

I had my daughter freeze a few of the baked goods that my mom sent so I can divvy them out to myself after this weight loss phase is over. I couldn't trust myself to be the one to handle them!
