yeah it was all i could do to keep from trying to sneak one of those pups home in my purse.  But my friend is an AKC breeder of merit and judge so there will be more. She has an english import now who is beautiful. may be the dad of my next pup and she owes me one.  a very nice litter - five and no duds.  D

Lots of cuts/colors today !!! I went from shoulder length to short hair with my VSG.  No more messy buns to hide the white !!  I am envious of all of you on or about to be on vacation !!  We have school here through next Wednesday.  Lots of breakfasts, lunches and dinners out today, followed by some exciting evening events !!  Enjoy all of those moments.

Up another .4 today.... up 1.4 in two days.  I did eat two cookies during yesterday's lavish office luncheon.  I'm pleased I did my protein first and no water, so at least I had my pyloric valve working with me !!  Kairk's comments yesterday reminded me that it's been a long time since I checked in with my "little girls" (disordered eating Dianes at different stages in their formative years) to reassure them that I've got this and to explore more deeply what emotion/need accompanies that desire for sugar/carbs.  Work in progress.

Age: 64; 5' 5"; High weight: 345; Start weight: 271 (01/05/15); Surgery weight: 218 (05/27/15); Pre-Op (-53); M 1 (-18); M 2 (-1.5); M 3 (-13.5 ); M 4 (-13); M 5 (- 8); M 6 (-12) M 7 (-5, Xmas); M 8 (- 9) Under surgeon's goal and REACHED HEALTHY BMI 12/07/15!! (Six months and one week.) AT GOAL month 8. Maintaining at goal range (139- 144) ~ four (4) years !!

Late check in today due to work commitments. Not sure how viable the business is so expecting a lay off after Chriatmas. Too bad because the situation was a great fit for me. Time will tell.

I'm down to 114 today, so seem to be swinging within a pound of my goal weight. That's okay by me. I really just hope to not go crazy with food and wine like I did last Christmas. Nothing more required

Hi all! I'm now officially on Winter Break! Hallelujah!

Late checking in here, too! Hectic day at school followed by an intense workout with the trainer. I'm sort of loving what we're doing. One of the other trainers walked by and said to my trainer, "You are being brutal to that guy!" But you know, I can do everything he sets in front of me, but today I did utter while on the air bike, "I'm not going to make it." and then with the trainer's encouragement I made it!  I could hardly breathe, but I made it! LOL!

NSV at school today, too! I led the ENTIRE SCHOOL in the sing a long. We have a long standing tradition of closing the sing with The 12 Days of Christmas complete with aerobic movements. I have not led the sing in a number of years and the last time I did I was dripping with sweat. Today, not a single drop! I did that entire song wearing a wool sweater and doing those damn moves and didn't break a sweat. Whooo Hoooo! Made me realize just how far I've come in the past 4 years.

Want to hear another NSV? Not a single cookie, baked good, piece of homemade fudge or toffee has passed my lips today. After school I had my Greek Yogurt with blueberries and chopped pecans (a daily ritual, btw). One the way home I thought to myself, "WHO ARE YOU????" Where did this inner strength and peace come from? I didn't feel deprived one bit, I just didn't want to deal with the consequences so I simply chose not to eat any sweets. I'm shaking my head in bewilderment just writing this. Truly, who is this person? (But I like! I like!)

Scale down another whole pound today even though yesterday was a higher calorie day (1500 by day's end). Goes to show it's really nutrition and calories over time that matter.

Have a puppy evaluation and party tomorrow. I get to play with 10 Airedale pups tomorrow! YAY!!!!
