Made It to Healthy !!!
I've made it to 149.8, a healthy BMI !!! My PCP recommended that I not go below 155, and my surgeon was pleased with 155 and cautioned me against going lower than a BMI of 24. I've set 141-146 as the range I'd like to be at, with my red line at 149. I am currently at 850 calories a day and losing 1-2 pounds a week. I plan to add calories back in at increments of 100, until I start to maintain. I had quite a struggle to get my calories up to 850, so I'm starting now so the steps are small and I don't go much below 140 "figuring it out".
I look forward to learning from all of you !

Congrats!
You are wise to have a plan in place. Adding calories can be a chore as an early post op. If you lose a little too much, that's okay. You can always purposefully and carefully add a few pounds back on.
Please stick around and post regularly. It's really great having the different kind of support we offer here!
Congratulations and welcome to the Maintenance Board :-)
