morning all

well yesterday was a great day both food and exercise, but scale is not agreeing.

consistency is the key for me. Work today should be busy and that helps.

enjoy the dancing Mary!

Happy Weekend everyone ( keep thinking how scary for the Mexican families in the huge storm )

I am so close to 20 pounds down that I can taste it! I have only .4 pounds to go and I will have lost 20 pounds. Hot damn!

NSV #1- Had a workout with my trainer yesterday. Completely unsolicited he says to me, "I can tell you're working on getting back in shape. Your arms are leaning out and I can see the mid line in your abs." Does it get any better than that? Hmmmm..... I don't think so!

NSV #2 - Treat day at school yesterday. Lunch room packed with sugar laden crap food - muffins, peanut brittle, pretzel brittle (chocolate dipped pretzel brittle), cookies, cakes, and one of my favorites: Bunditinis (mini bundt cake bites topped with cream cheese frosting) from Nothing Bundt Cakes. DIDN'T TOUCH A DAMN THING! The only thing that even slightly tempted me was the Bundtini. I slid my lunch bag in front of me to block the view!

Oh, Carbon, I feel for you on the night feedings! It is not something I do, but when I smoked I remember on a rare occasion waking up in the middle of the night or wee hours unable to fall back asleep and I'd get up and smoke - as if it would help...!!! ??? I'm sure it's basically the same thing - behavior that really makes no logical sense.

Mary, sorry the knee is giving you grief still. Not fun. I have heard that knee replacement surgery is a much harder recovery than hip replacement. Keep working it as best you can to get that knee straight! I routing for you!

Diane, not too much snacking during football! I'm thankful I don't like watching the games on TV. I enjoy going to a game, but I can'****ch a game on TV - too much to do and I get antsy.

Have a busy, busy weekend planned - dogs to groom, shopping, get the dog van smog'd, clean up the creek bed before the promised rain comes next week (I don't believe it!), dinner with friends.

Have a wonderful weekend all.

D-congrats on the 20# loss!!! And, the NSV! You are in the zone...fabulous job!

Carbon...keep it up. You're doing great! Late evening grazing gets me every time. I really need to find something else to do!

Diane...we're watching football, too!

My scale is still up, but I'm working on it! I had a great training session also and even though I'm up, my trainer told me she thought I looked leaner! It's the little things!!!

i made cauliflower fried rice with veggies and black bean sugar free brownies today. Oh! My...really good! Tomr, I'm making tuna noodle casserol with cauliflower. I found cauliflower crumbles; save lots of time. College football this afternoon and dinner with my person tonight...salmon, black beans and broccoli.

4 weeks until Thanksgiving break!!!
