Blue congratulations!!! Yay!!
yesterday went very well with the two hour plan. Until about 9pm. Two successive phone calls each about a death of friends. One was expected the other was not. One a family man of 44 the other a fellow in his 60's. Oh how my heart hurts for their loved ones.
I put in my mouth to much cheese and our 'relative guest' had some veggie chips that I took a handful of.
So today will be baking for the funerals.
However the structured food plan will continue. Good suggestions about keeping hands busy, am knitting a scarf . Measured it a few minutes ago. Know anyone who needs 7 foot pink one??
Enjoy Monday!!!
hi all. carbon so sorry you got two sad phone calls in one evening. way too much. take it as a reminder to cherish everyone including yourself and take care of yourself.
and keep on knitting. homeless shelters and battered women shelters need stuff for people.
126.5 today. took a good walk yesterday without dogs. they really slow you down with all their investigating. no reason i can't do two walks i guess. diane
Carbon - so sorry for the sad news. Never easy - even when expected. Having your plan to rely on will help in the long run. It's not unexpected in my opinion to "revert" to tried and true coping mechanisms when blind sided by emotions.
All is well here. Scale stayed the same again today, which is fine. Had a great food day.
Got a new kitchen gadget on Saturday that I had ordered. May sound decadent, but what the hell, right? I bought a stainless steel cream whipper/dispenser like they use in restaurants. Cream is okay in my book and I use a bit in the evening on my evening yogurt. I got sick of whipping it by hand, but did not want to use the store bought stuff because it has cane syrup in it (or most of them do - some less than others). Put it together and used it last night. So fun. I made a sugar free vanilla cream. Just a dollop on top made my serving of yogurt with berries and nuts absolutely decadent! YUM!
