Hi All! Another beautiful fall day here. One more day like today is expected, then it gets rainy and colder. Oh well, it can't last forever! Didn't weigh this morning, but food was good yesterday. I went to the store yesterday and bought supplies for breakfasts and lunches to keep in my office so there are no excuses.

Exercising seems to be a topic and key to maintaining weight and health. I'm not there yet, as my knee recovers. However, I am increasing exercise at PT - doing the bike longer and they added another strengthening exercise that's also aerobic that I can do at home. Can't wait until I can ride my bike again, go for long walks, and even to the gym. Have a great day! Mary

Up a half pound today for no reason other than just on account of because! Food was totally on point yesterday, so it's just one of those things.

Got up early and had plenty of time - not rushed at all - but forgot to make my shake and pack my afternoon snack. Funny, how when I realized this I became concerned. I had to remind myself that not having those things was not the end of the world and if I did get hungry, it would not be an emergency. Curious how deeply rooted food issues an be. I guess I still have "hungry" issues. LOL!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

hi all, 127 - go figure. stayed on plan and walked extra yesterday. what I thought would be an uneventful week is now stacking up with stuff. dogs got a clean bill of health except the old girl needs her teeth cleaned.

yeah i loved the Frisco post on 6 years. I was just a few months behind him so i followed him closely throughout my journey. very helpful.

message to all: keep on trucking'. diane

My week has been super busy; with kids all day and no breaks. Still...one of my favorite weeks all year. We rode a horse today and even got my FA up there. I would t have even tried 130# ago. Food has been okay the last two days. Today was not a stellar day...tired and ate things I shouldn't have. I acknowledge it and came home and worked out!!! I will sleep good tonight!!!

Scale is still up but under 150#. Probably not tomr...

Your post really illustrates how life requires flexibility. Sometimes we don't eat as planned, but own it without shame and move on. I'm also realizing that the closer we are to goal the easier it is to justify eating off plan. It's a mental game our inner fat person plays with us, I think.

Anyway, one day of less than stellar choices won't do anything to your weight long term.

"The closer we get to goal, the easier it is to justify eating off plan." There is a lot of truth to that!
