a really good day from a food point of view, walked for an hour and when got to work the server had stopped sulking.

I'm doing the happy dance this morning. Hopped on the scale and was down another full pound. That takes me to Goal #1 and beyond! So, I'm in a new "decade" as I like to call it. The tens place number has changed! Onward to Goal #2, which is now only .5 pounds away.
Hmmm.... have to think of a few new goals to meet. I have not been faithful on getting exercise, so maybe I will see if I can get three workouts in over the next week.
Feels good to not be pulled by the sugar and the carbs. I went back and checked my stats for the past 3 weeks. Averaging 120-140 grams of protein per day and carbs are generally between 70 and 100 per day. So, not super low carb, but lower than average. This seems to be working for me. I also noticed that carb ratio isn't all that different than immediately post op. Of course, none of my carbs are coming from processed foods (except for the occasional Quest bar).
