Hey! Who knew I'd be the first one to post today? Must be a Friday thing, huh?

Worked hours and hours in the classroom yesterday. It's coming together, but must purge some things. Lesa, you will understand completely: There is an add syndrome with teachers - the inability to throw things away. I have some charts and books I have not used in over 15 years and felt compelled to keep them "Just in case I might need it in the future!". So to help cure myself I am devoting one day next week to purging my teacher crap! (At home, I'm ruthless! Hasn't been used in a year, it's gone! (or at least in the donate pile in the garage)

Coming up with a plan to be successfully "No Sugar Ned" tomorrow at the dog club Pot Luck. I am thinking that I will bring my pot luck item (which will be me friendly) and then also pack my own lunch so that I won't be tempted by all the sweets. These types of "free food" events are historically very hard for me! Hell bent on not wavering in my resolve. Think good thoughts people.

Down 4.6 since Monday. Will be very curious to see if I have my weekend rise due to working out or if it has been a combination of working out and too heavy of a carb/sugar load. Again, I won't officially track weight until Monday.

124 today.  Kairk you are doing great, ditching sugar and junk at the same time.  keep it up. i need to dith stuff.  Artists are hoarders too as we cobble together equipment and keep thinking everything might be useful.  t'aint so.

i gotta work on upping protein.  might have to use a supplement. blech.

Dog show pot lucks are deadly    everyone brings the most fattening stuff there is.  you are right to bring your own food.  tonight is the art opening and there will be chips and dip.  think i will bring celery .

Heh!!!  I do understand!!!  I went through tons of stuff at the end of last year and purged my room.  I need to do more.  I worked in my room today. I'm pretty proud of my progress.  My set up is almost done and then it's onto lesson plan prep.  I'm goin in on Monday so I won't stress sitting on my ass in professional development...lol  Meetings out the Wazoo!

You're doing great on the no sugar.  Planning is everything...and it looks like you're doing it.

I ate a a slice of pizza last night and had wine...my usual up 2#. It was National Left Hander's Day!!!  Celebrated my hubby and friends.

I had a hip injection and it seems to be working:)  I'll be addressing my back pain next...lol I told my bone and joint Doc that I thought I hurt less after WLS and he said  you are more active; doing things you'd never thought about doing before.  That's why your body hurts.  I thought made sense.  However, I'd like less pain, please!!!

Have a great weekend!
