Monday already and a new beginning

This is odd. Can see Christine's query on the ' main ' page of VSG but not when you go into the discussion page. Christine perhaps the main discussion page would be better able to answer your questions. Excellent ones btw.
Realized yesterday that am self-sabotaging. Lost the five pounds. Yes. But how scary is that I might lose more and look better. This is sick reasoning folks but that is the conclusion I reached late last night.
Scale still up.
Why is it I feel better striving than maintaining?
Hope that every one had a good weekend. ( I now have billets for five weeks. They are from another country and their English is as good as mine is with their language which means that there is a lot of miming going on). I have forgotten just how noisy teenagers can be. It is rather lovely.
ACK!!!!!! Not my weekend. Started off great on Friday. Major intense workout with the trainer. Left my legs feeling a bit tired and then a bit stiff the next day. And that's when I got into trouble. I was showing dog Saturday morning. Started the initial go round. Since I was showing an Airedale that meant I had to run with the dog around the ring. No biggie since I'm not the Fat Man anymore, except on Saturday I get about 1/3 of the way around the ring and something snaps and pops in my calf and I start to skip and hop and have to come to a complete stop because the pain is so intense. Judge comes and takes dog away and number off my arm. Find a pinch hitter and we still win. YAY! But I am still hobbling! Apparently I tore, not pulled or strained, but tore one of two muscles in my calf. Great!
So, retaining water from workout, leg swollen just a tad and some salty food yesterday and I'm up 4 pounds since Friday. Go figure. At least I know I didn't eat that much! I actually should have stayed the same or lost considering what I ate, but ..... sigh.....
Oh, yeah, my debit card has vanished.
