Dreaming about Food again!!!
The food dreams are back. Anyone have a solution to this? I use to dream about food my first 6 months after surgery, when I could eat very little.
I've been removing sugar from my diet, post December splurges. So I'm thinking my body wants the sugar back, but I'm not giving in. This morning I woke up remembering the dreams so clearly. There was lot's of sugar and fat involved, I won't bore you with the details.
I'm very hydrated drinking lot's of tea, chicken stock, and infused water, to keep my mind off the sugar urges. I'm getting enough healthy calories, that's not the problem.
Okay, any advice you have would be great.

I sometimes have food dreams too. usually eating big blobs of whipped cream and such. when I wake up i am relieved its only a dream. I don't find these disturbing and so long as they don't make me go and eat stuff, why worry. Pretty hard to control dreams!
Sugar urges while awake are another matter. All I can suggest is eat some dense protein to surpress urge. diane
Ha ha...this reminds of a dream I had right before surgery where I was forced to participate in a brownie taste test at the hospital and I was scared I had messed up my surgery before I even left the hospital.
Anyway, I'm with Diane here...not sure how you can control your dreams. Maybe try some purposeful thought or try holding some non-food images in your head before bed, but I don't even know if that will work. I say just dream away and shake it off when you wake up.
