Daily Maintenance Weigh in Sunday Dec 21
123 today. ok everyone, lets not let the holiday stuff not be an excuse to slack off on self monitoring. yeah we all may have a few distractions and a little off plan eating but the more we monitor and keep this in our conciousness, the less likely we will be to have major holiday damage.
On that bright note, happy holidays all. diane
118. OMG. Total red zone number and one I completely own. I've been acting in the old binge-y way, shoveling sweets in and the like. Also over indulging in booze, which of course contributes to over eating. I'm a bit scared. Not behaved like this in years.
So although I may not have the full formula figured out, I'm starting by being accountable for the number, which is why I'm here today. So yes Diane, let's all step up. These days are hard.

Okay, I'll play. The binge monster paid me a visit yesterday, too! LOL! However, it was a planned day of off plan allowances, so no guilt this morning!
I'm pleased to say that other than the year I was sleeved on 12/07, this is the first year that I have actually lost weight between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since Turkey Day I'm down 8.6 pounds. I'll take it! I'd like to make that an even 10.0 by next weekend, but given the celebrations upcoming this week that may be a bit of a stretch.
Diane, did you get a Chai Tea yet? Feel free to take me up on my offer. I meant it!
You're doing great!!!! I had a day off yesterday, too!!! Yummy cookies and the like...back at it today!!! The difference for me is I'm not having a good fest starting at Thanksgiving and continuing through New Years!!! I'd call that progress! Trying to focus on things I'm doing right and continuing to change the not so healthy habits!
Enjoy your break!!!!
I also had a planned day off yesterday at the inlaws. Family. Fun. Food. I'm up today but back on it and should be back down tomr!
I'm on Christmas Break!!! So, I get to go to Yoga in the morning. I bought a mat and rat pads ( for my knees). I'm really liking it. I'm also working out with my personal trainer this week; even on Christmas Eve!!! And, the day after Christmas is scheduled, too!!!
Then, we're gone for a week with friends which is causing a little anxiety but will enjoy guilt free and be mindful!!!
Even at 2.5 years out I'm still meeting up with people that have not seen me post weight loss. It happened yesterday and put a smile on my face!!! It's motivating and made me feel fabulous.
I'm chatty today...
I love this time of year!!! Merry Christmas! I love and appreciate this group. Keeps me accountable and aware...
Peace!!
182 - big ride today - 66 miles in 32 degree weather. Well worth it.
Was back in Minneapolis for my monthly visit. The downside is that our house is on the market and has no food in it so it's been hard to put myself in a success position. I do the best I can for 3 days, but carbs are so easy - but the damage is small and I come home and work my ass off to burn them up.
