Wow, I am traveling to the midwest for a family reunion and I was ordering a take out dinner for our group of 10.  Here were the choices of side dishes:    mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, cranberry relish, stuffing, green bean casserole, edamame wild rice salad, rolls, and pumpkin pie.   Won't be eating much besides turkey i guess.  oh well.   diane

That's quite a list! Never mind Diane. Turkey is awesome!

Lots of places throughout the USA that still don't offer a great variety of low carb or fresh vegetable options. We are very spoiled in that respect here in CA, Diane. I traveled via Detroit a few years back. Had to eat in the airport there and I could not find a single salad in the terminal. Ended up getting a hot dog, threw out the bun, ordered a side of chili and made due.

At least you will have turkey!
