Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Thursday, September 25, 2014
Howdy from London - no scale, but thought I'd check in just to try to keep the habit up - been continuously traveling for a while, so weighing in has been hard - so has working out regularly. But after this trip things will settle down for 6 weeks, then I'll be on the road again, but much of it will be cycling oriented.
The better news is that I got a call from the police yesterday and they have recovered my stolen bike - I just got a message due to the time difference, but I'll call today and find out the condition of the bike - hopefully not too bad. That's a huge relief as I had no insurance coverage, and a replacement would have run about $4,000+
Loving my week in London. Saturday I'm going to try a race from Stoke-on-Trent to Derby and back (50 miles) and see how I do. SHould be interesting at the very least.
Have a great day!
Tom

Not being the world traveler, entertainment for the day is- after work- picking an apple tree....then figuring out just what to do with said apples....Looking forward to it as the weather has been glorious here lately and Hubby is going to join me in the adventure (he gets to climb up the ladder, I'm thinking)

Breaking The Fast
Day 7 - Today I can now add well cooked grains and beans...
- also, I can now eat some yogurt to introduce the 'good bacteria' in my system
Day 8 - Today I am going to do the same as yesterday, we were invited to a friends place last night so my eating plan changed and I was not able to get in some of the new foods.
- today I would have added nuts and eggs
120.5. off to the doctor for follow up on my little fainting episode. then gallery work - training someone on banking.
Tom so glad they found the bike. Amazing that they did. Hope its ok.
Bonnie, I make a chunky microwaved homemade applesauce that is easy and you neednt add sugar. I will pm the recipe if you want. Otherwise, consider whether a local food bank will take those apples. Out here they do and its a good thing. diane
Thanks, Diane, I'd love the recipe! Some of the apples will jar up into apple pie filling for holiday fare, and apple-peel/wine jelly for Christmas presents. Debating on maybe making a batch of venison mince meat.... Might even dry a batch as an experiment....Food Bank is a great idea for what will undoubtedly be some quantity of extras....
