Welcome officially  to the beginning of the fall season!  Whoop---my favorite!

144.6  I knew yesterday's weight wouldn't hold.  Woke up feeling absolutely lousy- chapped lips, dry mouth, woozy and nauseous. There were times I could literally feel my heart beating in my chest.  My first experience (and hope it's the last) with real dehydration.  Spent the whole day sucking water, and slowly, by the end of the afternoon, I was feeling better.  I guess I thought one day of willy-nilly-I don't feel like getting the (actually hardly any) water in can make a huge difference.  Lesson learned.

Found my happy weight of 112 again. I've worked for it over the past week and I'm going to continue shaving off calories this week in hopes of seeing 112 more frequently.

Things have not been going my way lately - lots of ugly curveballs but at least I haven't lost myself in a vat of ice cream. Or cake. Or cookies. Or nachos. You know what I mean.

Bonnie your dehydration serves as a good reminder. I can be very lax in that area too. Take care everyone. Let's make this day really count.

Hope you start feeling better real soon, Bonnie!

Spent last week in Dallas at a conference.  Even with all the snacks, room service, etc. I managed to come home at 134.4.  You wouldn't believe the GIANT basket of candy and goodies that was sitting in my room when I got there Tuesday night - ugh!  I marched it back down to the front desk.  The guy in the elevator look at me like I was insane - lol!   But I didn't even have to say anything to the lady at the counter - she took one look at me with the basket in my hand and said "I can't have that in my room either" and took it from me

Good for you Tracy!  Not sure I would have been able to march that basket right back!

Believe me, Linda, when I say that me and the sugar-devil had quite the argument before I decided to take it down to the front desk

120.5.  Bonnie get tha****er in. I am convinced my trip to the hospital from fainting was due to dehydration as i perked up when I got the saline and they did a zillion tests and found nothing. so I too am resolving to keep well hydrated. In this cool climate its easy to forget fluids as we are not stinkin' hot.

Last night sleever hubby and i went out to a very nice restaurant with friends.  we were able to order a nice appetizer as our meal. Mine was two huge scallops which i could barely eat and hubby had a beef fillet appetizer. the restaurant brings some small hors d'hoevres too.  So after dinner my friends order this killer chocolate cake and hubby orders some too!!  so he eats it and after a bit has to excuse himself to go puke!    We had to stop twice on the way home for him to barf and then he barfed some more at home..  So his eyes were bigger than his sleeve. Don't know why he ordered that damn cake.  (i ate a bite and it was great).  He is nearly 3 years out and still does this once in awhile. hope he learns his lesson.   all is well today.   diane

Weight - 145 lbs

Breaking The Fast

Day 5 - One apple and 12 oz of 50% water + 50% juice, wait 4 hours, repeat three times, then wait 12 hours... (yesterday I had watermelon, instead of apple at one meal, today I plan to do the same...)

Having a hard time getting enough water in with all the drinking and eating... will be cutting back on the juice soon, to make room for more water...

I found that if I infuse my water, my only beverage, with cucumber I drink more.  I don't really have trouble getting my fluids in, but this just makes it more enjoyable.  Weighing in at 133 today.  I prefer 131 which is where I was for most of the summer.  I haven't eating anything not on my food plan, but I have added some more fat.  I also added an apple in the afternoon some days.   I don't know if bumping up the carbs added the weight.  Still eating between 1000 to 1,200 calories a day.  Maybe this is my winter weight.  I think I will cut back to 800 calories for the rest of the week and see what happens.  Have a great day everyone.

Hi There,

Thanks so much!!  Normally I drink water like a fish :)  I hate drinking my calories and can't wait till the juice part of this plan is over...  THEN I should have no trouble getting my water in again...

Interesting with the cucumber, I have heard of lemon or lime... but never cucumber, I will keep that in mind :)

Good luck with those couple of extra pounds... sounds like you are doing all the right things...

Have a good one,

Cindy
