179.0 - lowest weight in a while...
Moving must be good for me! It's been a whirlwind of planning, packing, purging, donating, selling and driving as we relocated ourselves from the Twin Cities to Jersey City. We went from Suburban living to downtown urban living - a big change, but one we're excited for.
Here's the view of Manhattan from our balcony...

Tom! I think I was typing while you were posting! Shoot- those tall, impressive buildings where you live now ain't nothing...we've got 'em here. They're called grain elevators, and you can even get your flat tires fixed, and buy your propane for the winter at the Farmers Co-op, and...(alright--I confess---I'm completely overwhelmed by the stunning skyline--Enjoy your new space. Beautiful) When I lived in Miller Beach, IN, I could look out over Lake Michigan and see a very small, but distinct Chicago skyline. Brings back sweet memories.

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!

Ha! Are you talking about now, or sometime in my past? (Is my Midwest accent screaming through the font, somehow?) Born in Florida, raised and schooled in Michigan, lived and taught in several and varied states, married, raised my family, and have been residing in S. E. Kansas for these last 28 years. Now, if I still drank the stuff, I'd go get me a soda-pop and an "aig"-salad sandwich and go down to the crick for a nice lunch.
