Happy last-day-of-June...where did THAT month go?

Punishing ride on Saturday - I'm on a mission to get a "century" (100 mile) ride in at least once per month to qualify for an award in one of my cycling groups, so I had to go this weekend and do one. Both days looked bad for weather, so I chose Saturday - ouch. I ended up with 2 flat tires in the first 20 miles - had to call wife to rescue me, go to bike store, buy more tubes, start again at the 20 mile mark. That 2 hour delay pushed me into the later afternoon and then thunderstorms started so I got drenched once, dried out, then super-drenched in the last 3 miles. But I got it done. Of course Sunday turned out to be perfect weather...

I hit new territory today but me-thinks it's because I'm a bit dehydrated. 131.6....we'll see if it sticks around for a few days ;-)

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!
