Daily Maintenance Weigh In- Monday, June 16, 2014

Back home after a short weekend in the city- put niece on plane to Denver; sorry to see her go- super sweetie pie (and why not-being my sister's daughter?)  I have a few days home, then my sister is flying in and we are off on a road trip to Florida for 10 days or so- Whoo-hoo--together in a car all to ourselves- what fun!  Will need to develop some food strategies, however, as "grazing" potential is high.  Any thoughts out there besides constant sucking of water?  142.4

My parents are in an amazing assisted living apartment. They have 24-hour care if they need it. My step mom is out of rehab and back with my dad. They are settling in and getting things where they want them in the new apartment. My dad is in a safe place and he gets to be with my step mom which was my brother and I's goal. 

I got the Technology job. I'm still in shock. The coordinator pulled it off. She's amazing. 

My family leaves for vacation soon. We need it. 

My daughter has her first tennis match today. 

OMG that's such a boatload of good news!  So happy for ya!!

Thank you! I'm working on letting go of it all and just keep moving forward. 

Ditto on the OMG- Slim!  How fantastic with the job....congratulations!!!  Glad to hear all is "tucked and trimmed' with parents; peace of mind is a good thing.  Enjoy your summer break, girl!  Stress away for a whie!

It took 7 of us 2 days to move them into the assisted living apt and unpack them. Thursday, I brought my step mom home from rehab. They are settling really well. We feel very blessed. 

I can't wait to go on vacation. 

I'm bouncing around in the 132 range.  Sunday was 132.2 and today was 132.8

Thanks!  It's a really cool vibe down there---pine-y woods (think in terms ' The Yearling").  My family has been down there ( Washington county) since 1820 and i am related to everyone and their mother's uncle from miles around, -  Father was one of only one or to to ever leave- eventually returned....All all waiting for me to come to my senses  and return to the fold, as it were..  who knows?...  But, for now, can't wait to see the "clan".
