Surely I am not the first one up. guess everyone else has a life.    120 today back where i belong.

Leaving monday for two weeks in the midwest visiting Mom.   I have to cook decent food for her as she eats too little.  Fortunately she eats ice cream a lot but keeps insisting I eat some. I am going to have to find some sugar free something so she thinks i am having ice cream too.

Hubby has a new toy - a pruning tool that has a grabber on it so you can grab what you cut. he is out cutting up all the plants.  gotta shoo him away from the rose bushes.     diane

well we want to encourage him to do yard work since its a mess and he does so little.  we have invasive blackberries that are horrible and he is also cutting those back but at 6 inches at a time. so i guess i will let him cut up a few good things as long as he keeps after the stuff.   I like to prune  but still have to rest my hands.   plus i am too busy surfing OH.   diane

I've been sick and yesterday I was spewing from both ends. Apparently we really do keep about 2-3 pounds of poop in our colon because today I weigh about 2-3 pounds less than normal. LOL

Still feel a bit weak but I'm on the mend.

My favorite recliner is broken:(. Maybe that will make me sit less.  Ha!  We took it to get fixed today and visited with my husband's grandmother.

Diane, maybe your hubby can come now my lawn with the pruners...that would keep him busy!

well hubby might like the pruners but our lawn is a foot tall. he said he would mow today ..... oh well,  the front is mostly heathers and no one sees the back but the dogs.  its like a nature preserve.

himmalayan blackberries are a total menace here.  there is a native blackberry.  either is good to eat. you can go pick blackberries most anywhere around here but the invasive ones can liturally make land unusable they are so bad.   so you gotta keep them down.  we do have blueberries too and they are so good. and huckleberries and strawberries in pots. good barriatric eating. we eat the blueberries off the bush. they never make it to the house. i think i have some raspberries out there in the jungle.    diane
