Daily Maintenance Weigh-In, Tuesday, May 27, 2014
Yeah, I knew going into this that it wasn't going to be easy, but I SO wanted to believe the posts on the forums from the people who'd been magically cured, could eat anything they wanted in moderation, maintenance was a breeze, bidding farewell to all those lost pounds forever. Apparently my surgeon neglected to sprinkle me with that magic fairy dust before sending me back to the recovery room. Damn, can I get a refund?
120 today. at the holiday cookout yesterday I was good and ate my protein first. the evil dessert queen brought fabulous delights and I ususally have a small serving. I did so this year and about 2/3 of way into the evil but fabulous sweet my sleeve screamed "STOP - STEP AWAY FROM THE LEMON BAR RIGHT THIS MINUTE" surprising to get the sudden signal while eating a slider food but grateful my dear little sleeve is still on patrol. It was a nice holiday. Now back to reality. diane
