Good morning all!  Bout time to head off to school, and I was wondering, Diane, if I could borrow that tinfoil hat you mentioned having in a previous post.  Strange, cosmic rays and surly deadly laser beams surround me at school,  ....need...protection...feel brain meltingggggggg

146.4 - yeah, that's what I thought. Damn fluid retention.

I have an interview for the technology position at school. Fingers, toes, boobs, batwings, saggy butt skin and anything else that will cross is crossed.

I get to go into to work today and tell my boss that I'm interviewing for the position because I will be late on Friday and you have to literally walk through the Library to get to the technology area. Also, I have to ask for a full week off before school is over (big no-no taking time off at the end or beginning of school) so that I can care for my Alzheimer's dad while my step mom goes through physical therapy to recover from her brain tumor biopsy that was only supposed to be a 24 hours thing. This is the same dad and step mom that are supposed to be going on a major (everything is paid for) 2-week trip to DC with us in a month.

Hubby is sick with the runs and stuffy nose - flu-like stuff. He rarely ****** me off, but he managed to say something last night that made me want to rip him a new asshole. I talked myself off the ledge and he still only has 1 pooper. He's a man who doesn't feel good. Nuf said.

I am averaging 12,000 steps a day. WOOT! I've had 2 days this week with 17,000 steps. I've got my water back up to 12 glasses a day - minimum. Still working on protein. I have a beautiful house. My daughter has survived middle school and is only slightly jaded. My son is blossoming into the this amazing young man. My husband is my partner in everything. I have a very blessed life. And it is okay to have a blessed life and still be frustrated by the struggles that try to work their way in. It's NOT okay to respond with food to those struggles. This is what I've been telling myself lately.

Very much appreciate what you said and what you're going through,  Slim.

Either my parents chose my younger brother to tell me that my 84yo mother is having a brain scan re her short-term memory loss, or else he told me without their knowledge.  You would have to know my family to know how unremarkable this method of communication is for them.  Trying not to let that and some other stuff creep into my eating plan and send me back in the wrong direction.  Being sick and not having an appetite for anything other than sleep is helping.

120.5.  whatever.

Sure miss 150 you can borrow my tin foil hat. But it sounds like you might need more heavy duty riot gear for those last days.  Use a trash can lid as a shield and a double layer of heavy duty Reynold's wrap. We actually saged our art studio to drive out bad energy after some interpersonal conflicts occurred.   i live in such a hippy dippy place.

Sage!  Why didn't I think of that?  We have 3 huge bushes of it out in the garden.  I have a son who frequently comes over, picks lots of it and burns twists for friends' weddings-housewarmings, etc.  As to taking a trashcan cover to school to use as a shield....I might just be too tempted to use it in other, not so appropriate ways.  I'm on a planning period now, and just back from the main control where the inmate roster board is ridiculously bloody with isolations and ebt's up the wa-zoooo (Translate that to reduced class size tomorrow because the little buggers are going into disciplinary lock-down.  Hurt me some more---PLEASE!!!)
