For sport, how about a Kawasaki Ninja 250?  Lots of those around. There's also the 300 but it's only been around a couple years. Might pick one up at a dealership from a trade in. 

For a standard, I'd suggest the Suzuki TU250. That's about it in that size. It's kinda like a Violet Mini-Me. 

With your experience, I still think you could go bigger but you are the one who has to ride it. I respect that. So I'd suggest you buy something old as dirt because you won't be on it long!

111.4 today. Are some crap and drank more wine than I should have but kept the calorie counts fairly tight. I think I got away with it but we will see what this week's scale readings bring.

I can't believe all the stuff you guys do!  ride a bike a zillion miles, motorcycle, manage wild juveniles and crazy jobs!  you are all rock stars.

my weekend consisted of taking dogs to the beach and picking up fancy beach rocks. chopped down as many weeds as i could with tender pinky.    then we planted a wax myrtle which will hopefully grow big so we don't have to look at neighbor's swing set. Neighbor girl, well into teens, goes out and swings on it late at night. I think her mother is a meth user.  weird family.

Today I have to work at the art gallery. It will be slow so i gotta bring toys and books.   so much for my high stress life.   diane

Diane, I'd trade it all for dogs, an art studio and the beach.  Anytime.
