ok, that will be the day i outsmart that guy. but i have an appointment later in the week and have been feeling a little tired lately.  so gee, what do you think he will ask?

Dr: "how much protein are you getting?"

me  (meekly)  "er, uh maybe 60  ..."

Dr:  "well you need to get 90 now go and do it"

So I decided to get the jump and am having a protein shake now and its not as horrid as i expected.  guess i am going to have to do this regularly because i can't seem to get it in food.

Nope me neither so a daily shake it is and I don't apologize for it ;). I feel best when I keep my protein high and I also think it allows me to keep my metabolism revved up too.

Have just returned to shakes and drink one at 3pm to get my energy up for the daily 1 hour walk.

I might need to do this too.   I don't mind it, I just have to go and buy it.  :)

yeah i am afraid this is going to be a fact of life.  had that shake about 5 pm, dinner 2-3 hours later. designer whey is not to bad.  i used to get this costco brand but they dont have it any more and i hesitate to try the new one because its about 50 lbs bag.  in our rural area options are limited.  oh well, its doable.   diane
