Hi everyone,
Well, I am back.........I have been lurking for a while after being a faithful poster for some time last year. I was embarassed. I had gained 21 lbs. I had an anchor tummy tuck in September of 2013, but even with 8 lbs of tissue being removed, I actually gained almost 5 lbs all said and done. I am not really sure how that happened. Then the winter came, and I put on some more weight. I was all the way up to 183. My low is 162. I am happy to report that I am on the way back down at 175 today. Its really quite easy once I get myself in the right mindset. Hunger is not an issue, but boredom is a big one for me.
Anyway, have any of you put on a little weight over the winter? If so, how much? I think a little gain is normal, especially if one is not very active, but I don't have any excuse for what happened to me. I guess I fell for the sales pitch when I paid for surgery. They kept saying the weight was gone "FOREVA", but come to find out that I have to really work at that.
Have a great day!
Hey Jane! Way to climb back on the horse..It takes courage and effort to get up and dust off when we take a fall, and you are on your way back down. Keep it up and "get'er-done"! Yah, I don't know what the deal is with PS- Surgeon lops off all kinds of material, and it doesn't show up on the scale. I very slowly dropped about 3-4#s after my anchor cut TT, and have yet to lose the 4 #s that have shown up over my recent arm lift--Go figure. Anyhow- don't be hiding--Lots of support to be found here-We're rooting for you. Smiles and encouragement your way- Bonnie
