142.0 - so puffy

Had fun judging the egg drop competition at the high school yesterday. It was part of a CREATE event that the technology dept put on as an outreach for the local elementary schools. It was the first year that they tried an event this big, but it was really well received. 

I'm off to get some more errands done today. My MIL's oldest daughter (my SIL) is coming into town today, so we may have dinner out with her. 

It is supposed to be warm today, so I plan on getting a walk in today. 

Time to rock this day like it's 1999. 

100 lbs today.  Watch this space for a bounce back sometime soon!

Nancybefree, thank you for asking.  Yes, we managed to get a bunch of campsites at Yosemite (I normally go with a a large group of friends so we need a few).

Yay!

114.0 today.  It's absolutely gorgeous here and I'm longing to start motorcycling season.  But before I merge headlong into that, I've got a half marathon race to run on June 1st, which will involve some dedicated training time.  Not jubjub level of training by any stretch, but I will need to commit to some weekend hours until I'm done.  Have a good one!

hi all, nice 120 today. i like this number. it was always my high school goal weight which i was always dieting toward but rarely made and then only for 30 seconds.  yeah i was tortured by weight way back then and before.

an old fat shirt came in handy today. left hand is in a bulky splint and it wont slide through cuffs so i just cut a slit in old shirt. when the splint comes off time to shop ! diane

Diane I just read your profile blog posts for the first time.  Thanks so much for them. They really speak to those of us in maintenance.  Maintenance messages are things I'm always looking for!

Yesterday's "are you kidding me??" moment:  our former tenant, the one who with his wife and kids destroyed our house in 1.5 years and who owes us $$$$ in rent and clean-up costs, gave us as a reference to a prospective new landlord, who then called my husband.  OHHHHH, did we have fun filling that guy in on our experience renting to those pigs.  He thanked us and said that he just got out of a bad rental situation and was trying to avoid getting into another one.   

some people are terminally stupid!!!  d
