I feel beautiful in my outfit today. I went for a walk with hubby last night because it was still in the 60's at 5 pm. He's a wonderful man.

So my Mastiff is a veggie freak. She loves them all. Carrots, Cucs. Lettuce, Celery. Whatever. We don't feed her a lot of them because Mastiffs don't need any more fuel than is necessary for their flatulence. My daughter made a salad to take to school this morning and my 9 1/2 yo Mastiff is standing at the edge of the kitchen (not allowed in the kitchen) begging, sitting pretty, whining. She wants the extra pieces. So I grab the cucumber ends and toss them on the carpet by the back door. "If I give you these, will you leave us alone?" I walk off to the laundry room and start a load, but I can here my dog whining and scratching - like she's in the laundry room. I'm looking around and I realize that the sound is coming from the heating vent. Huh?

It seems that said dog pushed one of the pieces into the heating vent by the back door. It's gone. In the lost-forever hole. Worse. She can still smell it. So, now she's sitting by the vent pouting.

Mastiff- a true "dog's dog".  My sister had one, "Dumpy", what a face!  Poor thing, yours---.  That cuke in the vent is going to drive her crazy.  Time to "go fish" with the vac hose?

The crisis was averted. The had pushed the cuc into a corner that I couldn't see at first. She's happy again.

135.8 - thank goodness!

I had to really look at my food plan last week and determined that between-meal snacking had become a huge problem for me.  It kept me mentally obsessed with food (a long-time problem for me as a food addict) and I truly believe it was allowing me to eat more at meal times.  Cutting out snacks hasn't impacted my nutrition at all but my restriction is MUCH better...and I'm free of the mental obsession, for today.

Seems I've leveled off, its been almost a month since goal. So far I've been fluctuating about 1lb, I'm happy with where I'm at. Now if my skin would just magically retract, lol.

We had a 6.9 earthquake last night.  fortunately centered out in the ocean. it was a long rolling one. at first I thought my husband's pack rat piles were falling down.

checked one art gallery - no damage. will check the other one soon.. also my studio where there is tons of ceramic stuff in the works which is pretty precarious. oh well.  off to the big city tomorrow for another trip to the hand doctor.  diane

All the way up to 115 today.  The scale is always a mystery on a day to day basis.  As Tom reminds us, it's the trends and patterns that matter.  Besides, it's Monday so I really don't wanna talk about it.

141.8  Back down to my comfort zone of 140 to 142.  goal is 145, I feel safer down a bit.

Gorgeous weather here in PA, 50 degrees and sun shining. I did hear there is a winter storm coming.  Hope that is a mistake.
