Happy Spring Forward day!
Cleaning animals today. My cats *love* it. The Mastiff is going to have to go in the bathtub because it's too cold outside. I'm going after the couches and chairs today, too. Watch out furniture Slim's got the Bissel out.
Clean, clean, clean. Repeat.
Funny side story about talking in 3rd person. So the Librarian and I were trying to decide who had the crazier MIL. Obviously, I win, but he had one very compelling argument in his favor. His MIL ALWAYS talks in third person. At first he thought it was because she'd been a teacher for 30 years, but he knows a lot of teachers (and is one himself) and none of them talk in the third person. "Grandma's hungry." Grandma's tired." With my MIL everything is "creepy" "weird" "stupid". So, we spent the day messing with each other. I would say, "Slim's going to the back room for a minute." He'd say, "That's creepy."
Seriously, I'm reaching for every happy thought I can remember. Dealing with my work bestie is almost too much right now.
But, today is Sunday which means, I shall put on my weekend blinders and enjoy.

120.5. can't believe i am up this early on spring forward sunday.
have to work at the art gallery today. since its raining and off season hardly anyone will come in so i will have to keep busy sweeping the floor, playing internet scrabble and maybe getting the gallery taxes done. good thing there is an excellent coffee shop down the street. it will be a boring day.
a local hardware store has remodeled and is having grand reopening with 25% off everything. No telling what dh will come home with. our living room already looks like tool time. diane

102 lbs today. Upward bounce right on schedule.
Purposely got up early today so it won't be too bad tomorrow for work. I've already done one load of laundry and hand-washed the delicates. Dealing with the dishwasher next.
Did my taxes yesterday and my refund is DOUBLE what its been before. I guess the IRS will tell me if I made a mistake....

155.3 - Thank God, I thought that 2 pound bounce was going to stick around, against all reason, clean eating and extra exercise be damned.
I got out for a hike in the mountains yesterday for my mental health, ended up spending half of it grouching about whoever hiked up before me, clearly eating a hard boiled egg, and leaving behind a trail of egg shell and salt packet like F$@#ing Hansel and Gretel. Maybe need to up my GABA supplement. Sigh... I did eventually clear my head and enjoy the birdsong. I truly am a grouch hiker with hermit tendencies - how DARE all those other people show up on my trail?!?? I left the trailhead at 6:45am trying to beat the crowds and the rain, but still passed probably 50 people on my way back down. It's harder this time of year when we're all pretty much limited to the same few low-elevation trails.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Hey, there! Any of you cleaning, sweeping, dog shampooing freaks out there want to stop by my place after you're finished dusting your own? I have several fulfilling chores you can wrap your over motivated spring cleaning obsessions around. No kidding- I've got all this lifting-lugging-stuff I should get taken care of before surgery Friday, and all I've done about it today is set the clocks straight......procrastinatoeupthewazoo--that's me. I forgot to plug in the crock pot full of Saucy Chicken. I threw a tantrum and then went to Walmart for rotisserie chicken. I did remember to plug in the crock pot for the spaghetti sauce.
Church. Grocery shopping. Food prep. Laundry. Lesson plans. Bike ride. All in all a good day.
Four days and I'm on Spring Break.
