144.6

My daughter and I decided to try a Hip-hop aerobic class at Lifetime last night. We're standing around giving each other hugs and high-fives when the instructor walks in. This woman with black hair and fatigue-style yoga pants starts yelling at us and we start moving - cuz honestly, she made me wet myself a little.

So we're huffing and puffing along and I"m thinking this new hip-hop **** sucks the big one. We make it to the end and peel ourselves off the floor. Scary aerobic instructor, Trixie (I kid you not), says "thanks for joining Insanity. Get some water if you are staying for the next class."

As we limped out the door as fast as our sore bodies would take us, I noticed two things. - 1st, that wasn't Hip Hop (thank GOD, because I was worried), 2nd - some crazy ***** stay for a second class.

I'm off to work in a new dress and boots because we received an inch of ice/snow last night. No heels.

You all have a wonderful day!

We even asked the Help Desk (our first mistake) where the Hip Hop class was being held. My first clue should have been the fact that the help desk person didn't even know what day it was.

I have a pair of 80's Gap jeans that I try on every once in awhile. Apparently, having 2 kids, 20 years and gaining and losing 100 lbs makes it so that the pants don't exactly fit the way I remember them. So, I just keep trying them on and then taking them off.

Oh,yah, And the vanity sizing?!!  I'm in a size 8-10 anywhere I go, but these 'i83 's are a size 15 - go figure.  I think so e where that I read that Marlyn Monroe, who wore a size 10 then, in the 50's-60's would be in a size 00 today!

When I lost all of this weight, I promised myself that I would dress nicer. So, I make myself wear nice closes to work even when I really don't want to. I know - it's kind of a weird thing.

Well if I still had a job in the real world I would " babe it up" too. But I literally work in a mud hole so dress up is a clean sweat shirt. Shopping tomorrow though and who knows what I might buy.  Diane

101.4 lbs today.  Went a little overboard with some chocolate and peanut butter last night...

I've never done an Insanity class, Sim.  And now I think I never will :-)

Sunny in SF today.  I'm definitely in heels.

Have a good one all!

F
