Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday, February 19, 2014
I use almond milk (unflavored), but I'm not crazy about it. Lower carbs than milk, but I'm on the fence about whether that's still such an important issue in my maintenance.
122.5 today. works for me.
i too agree about the eating routine. i think every successful maintainer has a repetoir of appropriate meals to go to over and over. i make a grilled chicken breast several times a week for sleeved dh and myself. I have a variety of sauces such as ginger soy, thai peanut, tamarind, and other stuff out of a bottle that i add to make it different. some times just a lot of lime juice. another dinner is scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. another is pan grilled shrimp (precooked from costco) with some veggies. or tilapia fillets from costco or sliced sirloin steak. all this stuff cooks quickly. i will be in Trader Joe's territory tomorrow and will be on the lookout for interesting sauces that don't have hideous calorie counts. diane

As others here have mentioned, I do best when I basically eat same things too. For me, I'm guessing there are 15-20 foods I regularly consume.

140.2 Oh do I want to get below 140 and stay there!
I am finding as time goes on I gravitate to the same meals over and over again. Breakfast is a choice of 4 different meals, lunch is usually leftovers from last night supper, Supper is my plain meat and veggies maybe a starch. I have recently been eating fruit or veggies for my snacks and a protein shake before bed. I do try to make sure everything tastes good.

Thank you for bringing up the subject of eating the same things all the time. I thought I was the only one. I think since maintenance I have been trying to add different things and this is what has me struggling the last 2 months. Introducing new foods has triggered cravings. Okay back to basic foods only. Trying to lose the 5 pound gain.
