Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday, January 27, 2014
Thanks! NO, this is NOT my new normal weight. My first mistake was giving myself permission to eat the carbs. Stupid, stupid, stupid. As per a thread on the VSG board, I have learned the hard way that, no, moderation will not work for me.
Don't ever shy away from putting the truth out there in front of me, please. I can put the blinders on with the best of them, which is how I got all the way up to 357 (maybe more, because my scale of that time had long since been tested past its 325-lb accuracy limit). It's great to know that there are people here and IRL who will do that for me, and I'm grateful. That's one of the things I like about you, Slim.
Hope you are feeling better ASAP. What you got there is a nasty ***** to deal with.

101.4 lbs today. All good. It's a 1300/75 (well, 1300/80, really) day, just like yesterday.
Have a good one, all!

185.0 - **** Well, another long travel day (3 hour delay, plus flight, etc.) Didn't eat anything bad, per se, but TOO MUCH SALT on my protein (jerkey & nuts).

You'd really love me in real life. My dad was a drill-instructor in the marine corps... I learned creative swearing at his knee. I feel it's more in audio form, rather than written :)

142.5# i beginning to think this is my new number!!!!!
I went to bed early and woke up at 12:30am!!!!! Dozed the rest of the night and am TIRED!!!! I hate when that happens. My attitude was I don't wanna either! But, I did...On the bright side, I'm having a good eating day. I probably just jinxed myself!!! lol
I made asparagus quiche for the first time...yummy, low cal and filling.
Happy Monday!!!!
I am NOT very happy with myself. 178.8 this morning, and it was only just a little over a week ago I was 174.4. It has to be salt and water retention, but it could also be swelling from my plastic surgery in September. Apparently it is possible to be swelling for up to 6 months, and some even longer after a tummy tuck. I know that after work, I am often very swollen. I just don't understand how 8 lbs. of tissue was cut away, and I came out 4 lbs. heavier than I went in (that was after a month of not stepping on the scale because they tell you not to). I am being very careful during the week with my intake, but I do relax somewhat on the weekends. Trying to keep my protein really high. HELP!
