Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Wednesday, January 22
So glad you're sticking with it! Whenever I got scared, I'd try to remember that it takes an additional 3500 calories to actually 'gain' a pound. This kind of experimenting definitely takes nerve, but in my rational mind I can do the math. It tells me it isn't possible to gain a pound overnight unless I ate at least 3500 extra calories!

I am going swimming tonight. This post is my promise to myself.
Other than that, my job still sucks and my phone and email are off the hook with recruiters but there is so much crap to wade through that I'm just ignoring most of it. But I hope to have a new job some time in the Spring.
I think my head must be getting better because my weight is very very slowly infinitesimally dropping. I'm down to 123 at this point. I hope to get back down to under 120 and back to running by summer. I'm strength training and swimming and may go bike riding on Sunday.

116.0 today. That's fine, but I'm starting to jones because I've been eating about 135 carbs daily for a couple of weeks at least now. That's the bad news because it means I've gotta clean up my act before I get myself into trouble. The upside is that I actually know why I'm feeling the head hunger and I can do something about it.
