183.0 - nice steady drop this week - hopefully on track to get back in the zone...
Halfway through January... snow here yesterday and today, but at least not the bitter cold of last week.

101.2 lbs. Happy here.
I took my first ballet class in 20 YEARS last night! I danced for a long time as a young person (ballet is partially responsible for my not-so-stellar relationship with food) but didn't feel I could come back to it as an adult until now. It was pretty fun! Between dancing and rock climbing, my exercise/fun quota should be met.
Have a good one, all!

I'm so happy for you! My one and only year of ballet lessons was a glorious one for me until it ended with a thud. My parents didn't like that the ballet director berated me during our recital. That, as they say, was that. Broke my little 7yo heart.

Awww - bummer for your seven year old self! Ballet teachers can be the meanest people on the planet, I know. My teacher last night was pretty awesome though - all of his corrections were administered with humor. Maybe try ballet again now that you're all grown up? Things will certainly be different :-)
Have a good one, Nancybefree!

Believe me, I flirt with the concept of doing ballet again, but I have a bad ankle now which may or may not be fixable and which would be limiting. I have thought about training myself into splits again, though. Just for fun I tried that thing where you extend your leg up and support it with your hand? Ha ha! -- nailed that. It helps to have legs that don't weigh so much anymore. :)
So glad you are in ballet again!
