VSG Maintenance Group
Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday, January 6, 2014
186 - higher than I'd like, but less than I started the holidays with, so we'll call it a draw.
Minus 24 degrees here this am (not including wind chill - i don't even want to know what that is). Governor closed all the schools.
Had to show off my Christmas present to myself... a new Espresso machine + grinder scored from Craigslist...

I did! It forced me to upgrade my machine so I could make espresso as well as I could in the class :)
Luckily craigslist had a couple high-end units to choose from at deep discounts.

Good morning VSG Maintenance peeps -- figured since I signed up for this group I better start contributing :-) I claimed "goal" at 134.8 on Dec. 31st. Want to get to 130, keeping 135 as the red-flag number that prompts me to go back into WLS mode.
Last week I was down with the flu and a head cold so I didn't get any workouts in and wasn't good about getting all my water either. And I found myself nibbling on things I don't normally eat, I think in an effort to make myself feel "better" (and that never works).
Scale today was at 135.8
165.6
Tenants finally locked out. House is *filthy* and has some damage, but at least those idiots are trespassing if they come back. The smell from the well-stocked-but-unpowered refrigerator/freezer is competing fiercely with the smell from the cigarettes they were barred via lease from smoking indoors. Electric to be restored tomorrow, and heating oil to be delivered ... both not a moment too soon.
