@ Slim -- is the PT workout on machines? YAY on that racquetball. It's awesome that you have that stamina and have found that so enjoyable.
@ the world ... I had a major Goodwill NSV today: I actually bought clothing there that fit. Just for kicks I browsed their skirt rack and found the long, trumpet-style denim skirt of my dreams. It fit. It's actually a tad too big. It's a misses size 18, NOT a plus size. It does not have elastic anywhere on it. It cost $2.49, and it's in perfect condition. This may not sound like much, but having come from a size 5X/6X just about 18 months ago ... :) :) :)
Hanging around 123 these days. Still eating a lot of M+Ms but have cut down on a lot of other crap. But I'm absolute proof that you can eat like crap and maintain or even lose weight. People beat themselves up whenever they eat something "bad" and it's so unnecessary. It's all about appetite control IME.
I'm trying to figure out my workout routine for 2014. I think I'm going to join everything I want to join no matter what the cost is. What the heck! I finished 2013 by going on a bike ride and I want to start 2014 by swimming. I desperately need to work on my core too. I'm tired of having back problems.

I needed the core work and there were times that I thought I might scream like a girl, but I held it in. My lower back is a pitiful mess. Karate has a lot of core work which is good, our karate place also has a lot of compression type workouts (hitting and kicking things). That part was very hard on my back and it was the ultimate reason why I had to stop. I think we've found some core workouts that we can do on the machines at Lifetime, so that's a good thing.
