183.0 - 126 miles to go to 5,000 for the year... planning about 30 a day to finish on New Year's Eve...

Been getting back into maintenance range when weighing post workout... so that's progress- of course that reflects some dehydration, but still...  Hoping to be pretty close by the time we head home.  Losing 9 lbs over the holidays would be a definite WIN.  But either way, i'm happy with the results, the exercise and the warm weather.

Give 2013 the finger Slim, and then turn your back on it !

148.4 - Yep, I'm posting it.  Where did 3 #'s come from?  Since, realistically I could not have eaten that kind of gain, I'm going to chalk it up to fickle scales...or water retention..or, maybe evil trolls...who knows?  No fear-nofear-nofear.  The ****** is that for the last long time I haven't had any big bumps up or down and was loving the consistency of it.  You know- feeling smug and normal.--In control.   This maintenance mind thing is the hard part.  Off to drink some water....do something...my emotions are telling me if I eat something I will "feel" better-calmer...Ah, the evil troll mentioned above--AKA-emotions....Going to get through this.

  goal!!! August 20, 2013   age: 59  High weight: 345 (June, 2011)  Consult weight: 293 (June, 2012)  Pre-Op: 253 (Nov., 2012) Surgery weight: 235 (Dec. 12, 2012) Current weight: 145

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal!  BMI from 55.6  supermorbidly obese to 23.6  normal!!!!

It's fluid retention - I'd bet on it. I doubt you inhaled 10500 calories in one day. That's like 65 glasses of wine - yeah...no.

But, holding into 48 oz of extra fluid is realistic.

Beat off those emotion-driven thoughts.

Remember you just had PS. That can mess with you for months.

116.8 today. Very happy with that. Coming through the holidays unscathed.

Shopped the big sale at my favorite local boutique today. Size 2 and XS are consistently me now. It's still hard to fathom. Style has always been important to me, so it's wonderful to be free to fully express that part of me.
