Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Saturday, December 14, 2013

144.0 - This won't last for long. 

I had a very stressful day yesterday. It started with my MIL standing at her bedroom door at 6:45 am telling me that she can't breathe and that thing is happening to her throat again. I, of course was on the way out the door to work. 30 minutes, some advil, pepcid and diet coke later she was ready to go back to sleep. She asked for a lunesta, which we have for her, but we use sparingly because it causes her to wander and sleep eat. I told her that we'd give her one at night and then I went to work. She didn't call 911, thank goodness which is her normal MO. 

Fast forward to work - about 1 pm we went into lockout (which is a little different from lockdown). Arapahoe High School is about 10 miles from our school, so the lockout was just precautionary, but it is stressful anyway. 

So last night, I decided that I needed and mommy daughter date. My daughter and I went to our old haunt The cheesecake Factory. I had some bread and a salad and a few bites of Godiva cheesecake. It was wonderful to sit and chat with her and just let go a little. 

So, that is why the 144 probably won't stick. 

Today is baking 20 gingerbread house from scratch for my amazing Annual Gingerbread Decorating Party. It will be about 12 hours of baking today. The party tomorrow is so much fun. The kids that come over to decorate LOVE it. 

Umm all the way down to 114.8 this morning. Don't know what to say about that. WTF?

WOW! You must have holding onto some serious water.
