I think we're going to do some Christmas Shopping today and maybe get the Christmas decorations out and put up. Hubby off the rest of the week! I have a work out with the personal trainer tonight. I'm still sore from Monday; like REALLY sore. Dinner date with the hubby afterwards. Life is good.
What's your plan for Thanksgiving? Do you set rules or eat what you want that day?
Our dinner is not going to be huge this year as my MIL just had surgery. I plan to eat a little bit of everything but probably not dessert because it's not homemade (that's one of my rules I try to adhere to) There will be no leftovers at my house so back on plan .
145.0 That is my lowest since high school. WOOT!!!
We are going to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. Hopefully it's a good day for my MIL. In the last 9 days, 4 of them have been good.
My eating plan for T-day. Well, it seems to be changing. I'd planned to take that day off and eat whatever I want, but now that I'm on an Operation Maintain (Weight) team at school and I've lost a couple of lbs, I want to stay on plan. I wish I was good at just eating little bits of everything, but I'm not. So, my short answer is, I don't know.Either way, my plan for the DAY AFTER is the same. Decarb (if needed), clean the house and put up Christmas decorations. I'm pretty good about making sure that one day off plan STAYS one day.
Usually stress makes me eat, but this time it is doing the opposite. **** I'll take it.
Nice number!!!!!! WoooHoooo! I'll take the I don't want to eat when stressed plan. I'll have 12 days of school before Christmas Break. If I can survive the rehearsals for the Christmas Show without copious amounts of chocolate and coffee then I will have accomplished something...lol
Here's hoping for good days with the MiL through the holidays and more:)
I swear a ******g candy land mansion could be built with the sweets at school.
We started the Operation Maintain thing last Thursday. Friday my bestie brought in Starbucks for everyone. She doesn't know what I like, so she bought me a Chai Latte - 45 grams of carbs **** her very much. Then, Monday was a birthday party for 3 people. I bought in the Starbucks based on orders (what I get for myself has less than 10 grams of carbs) and there was fruit and cupcakes. I only had the Starbucks - no cupcakes or fruit. Then, yesterday, a kid walks by with extra cupcakes and offers them to us. Everyone else took one, but me.
Ha! I WILL NOT gain!
121.3 Glad to see both you ladies are doing fab.
My plan is to eat a little of each thing I want, but I will be discriminating. If it is homemade and tastes good I will eat a little. I have been prepping by losing 4.5 pounds since last week at this time. I didn't want to go into Thanksgiving at the top end of my maintenance comfort. I am happy right where I am. Will be back on my usual plan of 1200 calories and low carb after tomorrow. Happy Turkey Day!
180.3 - moving in the right direction! I've been experimenting with some different things, I'll write it all up if/when I have some conclusions.
Thanksgivine will be weird. Brother passed away this year, MIL passed on as well, Sister moved to Houston... My little brother and I decided to take our parents and his MIL to a restaurant instead of home-cooking this year. No problem. T-Day features good protein...

my thanksgiving plan is we are going out with a small group to a restaurant that has a traditional thanksgiving plate OR i can order off the menu. I will order an appetizer as dinner and let everyone else stuff the carbs. best of all i won't have all that junk around the house.
Slim you rock. Woman of steel to turn down all those cupcakes and such. Workplaces can be deadly with all the junk. Congrats on the low weight. you will win. diane
