149.4 - the decarbing isn't going well. Time to take a new tact.

I want to watch one of my all-time favorite movies today - MURPHY's ROMANCE. Love that movie. I hope I get the time to watch it. Oh, and don't hate me edelu - looks like my movie plans flew out the ******g window. My daughter is sick. Ugh.

103.2 lbs today.  Arghh. 

I'm stuck with food-centric events for one more day today, then I'm back to high protein, low carb tomorrow.  Whew, what a relief.  Balancing food versus life has bee SO DIFFICULT lately, especially now that I"m almost two years post-op.  The year and a half right after surgery really lulled me into a false sense of security and control around food, but now that I'm further out, I realize it's getting to be the same struggle that it was pre-op (which sucks!!!).   Although I've done a lot of mental/emotional work around my food issues, it appears there is more work to be done still.  Once again, arghh.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone just invented an ghrelin suppression pill?  Or even better, some sort of psych pill that would prompt us to find a means of relaxation that's not food related :-)

I almost posted a sharp reminder to you last night then i thought "Something is gonna go wrong and she's not going to be able to do it" Murphy's Law.  So weird you're watching Murphy's romance.  Anyhow enjoy it.  I just did a guilty pleasure watch recently.  I know it's shameful but i felt the need of Richard Curtis's "Love /actually".  I have a love/hate relationship with this movie but i needed it, like sometimes you need chocolate (same relationship).  Anyhow enjoy. Hope your daughter feels better.  In fact hope you whole family is over this run.

BTW, did your MIL want a homeless man living in her garage or was it a squatter.  Disturbing.  

She allowed him to move into her storage shed. But it sounds like he is sort of squatting, too. My sister-in-law said that she heard hammers and **** like he upgrading his living area or something. He'll be gone by the end of the week.

I feel the same way about "Love Actually." It make me laugh and roll my eyes.

sorry your girl is sick, slim. can you still sneak in that movie?  hoping your day improves.

Sorry your baby is sick!   I love Murphy's Romance..it's on my top ten list...along with Love Actually, Pretty Woman, Shawshank Redemption, The Family Stone...
