Daily Maintenance weigh in- Thursday, October 24, 2013

Honestly, he's a really good kid, never gets into trouble, etc. But he's just so freaking smart that he's never had to actually learn how to take notes or study or even just really listen in class. The ADD makes it that much worse.

I spent 2 hours the past two days explaining to him why he has to show his Algebra work. There's only THREE problems, dude. You miss ONE and you failed. If you show your work you can get partial credit. The problem is that he never learned HOW to show his work so I'm walking him through it. Yes, we all know that 4/100 is 25%, but SHOW ME HOW to do it.

I seriously am going to end up in the ******g looney bin.
