Daily Maintenance Weigh In, Tuesday October 15, 2013
180 - should be receding by tomorrow - need to get some more water in to flush out the weekend's carb load.
Halfway through October... Rainy and cold for a couple days here... but should be nice fall weather (50s) on the weekend.
Found out that my cycling coach intends to do Race Across America next June. I've volunteered to be on the crew - 2 weeks of round-the-clock work, next June to get him across the country in about 10 days... should be interesting!

150.1 - major headache this morning. Fighting it off so far, really do NOT want to deal with a migraine, so I'm keeping it quiet for a while - well, as quiet as I can with a kid doing school and 3 dogs that are restless from being inside from it raining all weekend.
Where's the freaking cheesecake? LOL

Candy, I found something you might want to use in maintenance. Tastes so much like cheesecake, but you have to like goat cheese. Trader Joe's has all sorts of goat cheeses coated with blueberry, apple cinnamon, and there is one that has just a hint of honey. I spread a small amount on graham cracker square and it is heavenly to me and fills the cheesecake craving.
Cool. I hear we have a Trader Joes open now here in Austin. I was kidding about the cheesecake. I try to not eat just because I'm stressed (or happy or sad or any other emotion that food used to fill). But that does sound good - and, yes, we are cheese snobs around here, a good goat cheese makes us all happy!

That's going to be a LONG wait... LOL ;)
But yeah... If I find myself craving something just because I'm stressed out, I know I don't need to eat it. That ends to send me down a spiral that I don't need to be in.

Eh, being crazy wasn't so bad. The Zoloft keeps me from falling into that weird pit of apathy that I sat in for several months. That was SO FREAKING WEIRD because I've always been a "let's go" type of person. At the end of the day, I guess it helped bring me balance to my life. I no longer stress too much if EVERYTHING isn't done before I leave my office. That's better than just not doing anything though. LOL. Oof.
