Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Friday September 27
Friday am on this side of the pond...
172.0 today, down again (or 12.3 stone as they say here)... interesting. My diet has been Quest bars, chicken breast, coffee, nuts and 85% dark chocolate. Hunger has been minimal. The scale in the hotel room may or may not be accurate, but it is moving in a good direction, each day that I've been here.
Have a great Friday!

Really sucky day yesterday. I got into an argument with the owner of the dojo in front of everyone. My son is going for black belt which he is supposed to receive a week from tomorrow. He's been attending "black belt bootcamps" for 3 weeks. They are 10-15 hours on a weekend (spread over a Friday and Saturday). They are also required to be at every regular class and all of their regular activities (school, homework, clubs, sports, etc). My son missed 2 regular classes because of the surgery I had to remove skin cancer. Last night the owner said that I should have found a way to get Allan to all of the classes. Um...yeah--it wasn't pretty after that comment.
Now I have to figure out if I am going to let him go to bootcamp on Saturday. It's the last one.
*sigh* I don't know.
I'm off to races. You all have a wonderful day.
Oh My!!! What a jerk and that's putting it nicely! Hugs! You will figure it out!!
On another note...your number looks great! Hope your weekend is great!
Thanks. *hugs*
I haven't felt like eating lately. Wednesday, I got the stitches out, finally--I saw 2 doctors and all of that running around made me forget to eat breakfast.
Usually stress sends me to the cupboard scrounging around like an alley cat in a trash can, but not this time which means it's probably not stress. It's probably the "D" word--which also weird for me because even though I'm a combative, smartass, *****from-hell, I'm a pretty happy person.
This, too, shall pass. My son will get his black belt, Obamacare will still have a lifetime limit of ONE pet scan for cancer patients, my dog will keep eating her own **** in the back yard, my cat will keep brining us bloody bunny presents.
I have a truly blessed life. This is one small crack in the road. That's what I keep telling myself, at least.
I might need to travel to London!!!
138.4# ....much better! I'm off to physical therapy, pedicure and a football game tonight. I still need to shop for jeans...yuk! Have a good day!!!
I'm trying to figure out how i can relocate for a year... if can land one or two more clients I'll have the option, i think.

147.2. And a wonderful evening planned! Company over, and we're making and jarring homemade apple butter, with a lovely dinner to follow. Oh, the autumn smells that will flow through the house. P.S. Sending most of the AB home with guests- will save a jar or two for hubby. Have a great weekend, folks! Bonnie

What a crazy week. Some very low stressful days, this was the first week without my sister here since surgery. I did manage to get my daughter through her 2nd week of online public charter schooling. My son got his 504 in place and got his Spanish class switched to German (I didn't think they'd do it because it's 5 weeks of school in already).
Whew.
