Daily Maintenance Weigh In - Monday, September 23
179 - I seem to be putting on weight, yet not much has changed with diet or exercise... Troubling. I'll have modify things.
Big weekend. Rode 126 miles on Saturday and 40 more on Sunday, I should have burned 6,000 calories or so...

148.6 - up a lb from Saturday. I didn't change my eating. Actually, I barely got over 800 calories because I forgot to eat my GY. I thinks it's fluid, so I'm going to stay on this course for now.
Tom - sounds like ye olde water weight. I know you know this, but 1 lb of water equals 16 oz. You could easily be holding onto that much water--especially after the big ride like that.
I think I'm holding water, too so I'm going to add in 2 additional cups today. Well see what happens.
This week is spirit week at school. Today is "cozy day." I'm wearing a Broncos sweatshirt and Star Wars pajama bottoms, with my bright orange Broncos house slippers. I'm stylin'. *grins*
It's raining--again. Kind of deja-vous-ish.
Yes, quite probably water - my legs are rather sore today, which I just noticed, so that tells me I pushed 'em pretty hard this weekend... I actually don't care if I go up in weight as long as it's not fat. But my trend has been up - which again, I believe is muscle. Just needs close scrutiny.
This coming Saturday I'm riding in London, then I'm on a "break" for about 4 weeks. I'll do some general conditioning, but no "hard" cycling for a month. Then I'll start ramping up again for next season.

151.2 - wooooot! new low since my back surgery and WELL within my range. Who knows why, I haven't exactly eaten perfectly, but I think I need to reevaluate what my eating is right now. I keep thinking I'm screwing up, but when I go back and add up the numbers, I'm actually doing pretty well. I think I'm just so used to picking apart my diet that... yeah.
Off to the races today, I have a slew of blood tests my WLS surgeon wants done by December, but since I'm meeting with my primary to go over my happy pill RX, she'll do them there for me along with another blood test.
Then it's school and work for my daughter and I.
My sister leaves tomorrow. Getting nervous about how it's all going to work out, but I think I can time my meds most days so I can drive and still be in minimal pain. Life is definitely getting back to normal. I feel human the vast majority of the time. Just the bending over first thing in the morning sucks so if I drop something I bug a kid. LOL

Hang in there Candy. You are doing fantastic. You are overcoming so many obstacles. I know you wouldn't choose to go thru all of this but you are an inspiration.
Jub, you look solid as a rock in your pictures. Can it be you are building more and more muscle? I know that will boost your metabolism in addition to putting on weight. I know the scale is a concern for all of us.
I am 120 even today. Praise God.
We weigh pretty much the same today, Sis. Praise God indeed
